KwikChex is assisting more than 200 Seasons Holidays owners and has gathered thousands of pages of evidence concerning the sale and operation of Seasons products.
KwikChex assisted the BBC investigation into concerns surrounding Seasons Holidays fractional products.
The BBC consumer affairs programme Rip Off Britain broadcast an investigation into Seasons Holidays’ fractional ownership products, examining allegations that purchasers were led to believe they were buying products with investment potential and long-term financial value.
The programme, broadcast on BBC One on 19 May 2026, featured testimony from Seasons customers, examples of the sales presentations used and expert commentary from Chris Emmins, CEO of KwikChex.

In response to hundreds of complaints about Seasons Holidays Keys products, KwikChex has conducted an investigation
While KwikChex was continuing to evaluate the situation, including within the context of whether Seasons and their products had complied with the relevant laws, a growing number of Seasons Holidays customers were being pressured into attending meetings with Seasons to discuss their end-of-term options.
KwikChex is receiving an increasing number of enquiries from Seasons Holidays owners asking for our opinion on whether they should agree to the new terms for subletting their ownership.
We understand why owners are finding this difficult.
Some owners report that their membership has been changed to Core status or that access to resorts, accommodation or standards they expected has been reduced or removed. Ask Seasons to explain the change and its contractual basis in writing, and retain the original descriptions of the benefits purchased.
Some owners are questioning increases, unexpected liabilities and the relationship between service charges and rental returns. Owners should retain every invoice and statement, compare the amount and description with their contract, and ask Seasons to explain the contractual basis and calculation of any disputed charge in writing. Do not simply stop payment without first understanding the possible consequences.
We are receiving enquiries from Seasons Holidays owners who have been offered £1,000 to surrender their fractional/Keys ownership early and are asking whether they should accept the offer. The figure has nothing to do with any valuation. As they have demonstrated, Seasons would really like to cajole owners into handing back their contracts and paying thousands more for a new product. Now that tactic is failing; they want to try to lose the contracts by paying £1,000 (regardless of how long the contract runs, the price paid, or the potential value).
Our advice at present is not to rush into a decision.
Owners invited to surrender, exchange or pay more for another Seasons product should obtain the complete proposal in writing and take time to review it independently. It is important to establish what happens to the existing ownership and whether any holiday rights, rental entitlement, maturity proceeds, complaint or potential claim could be lost.
